In the summertime, this is an unpaved, and easy route, over Boreas Pass to South Park. Once the fall colors start in the fall, the area between Breckenridge Park Estates and the pass is an excellent place to see the yellow burst and colors change.

Privacy and Access to the Great Outdoors
From the neighborhood, you have easy access to mountain bike and hiking trails that traverse Baldy Mountain. You can cross streams, enjoy the historical mining areas and into Wakefield meadow near town. In the winter, these are great trails for the cross-country skiers and snowshoers.
This neighborhood offers privacy and a place to get away from it all. The original Breckenridge Park Estate homes were mostly built as small, second homes, on 1.5 acres. There are still almost a third of the lots still available. This subdivision sits outside the town of Breckenridge limits, so the homes are on septic systems because city service are not offered. The best past is that there is no transfer tax!
In the mining days of the 1880’s was when the first cabins started to be built in the Breckenridge Park Estates. The first “ski-homes” started to be built in the early 1960’s. It is considered one the earliest developments in Breckenridge.
