There is a trail through the woods at the base of Peak 9, above the Quicksilver Lift; follow this through the trees and across the river to the Powderhorn Condos. The homeowners and guests have cleverly turned this trail into their own path to ski-in/ski-out access to the Quicksilver Lift.

No matter what time of year it is, the trail provides access many activities. In the summertime, you have access to the river and the fishing can be magnificent on this stretch of water behind the Powderhorn Condos. Wintertime, the trail provides access to the base of Peak 9, and from there, you can reach the rest of Breckenridge Ski Resort.

Directly across from the Powderhorn, is the Columbine Pool. It offers several hot tubs, a common area, and can be used by owners/guests from a small group of neighboring condos.

In 2000, access to the Powderhorn Condos changed significantly with the constructions of Main Street Station. Columbine Road was reconfigured so that cars did not have to maneuver through the Bell Tower Mall any longer. Columbine Road now has access to Broken Lance Drive. The reconfiguration eliminated the drive-through traffic and made walking more pleasurable. Powderhorn Condos have a great location to the shopping and restaurants that Breckenridge has to offer. The free town bus also serves Powderhorn Condos.
