The days are warming up and the snow is quickly melting away. To kickoff summer, mountain style, come join the Town of Breckenridge for the 19th Annual Breckenridge Town Party! The tradition was started by the town to thank the locals for all their hard work over the winter. On June 13th, from 4:30-9 p.m. come enjoy a relaxing mountain evening on the lawn of the Riverwalk Center. There will be free music, performed by the Wheeler Brothers, socializing, and lots of fun activities for the kids. And don't forget about the annual Town Photo. So pack your picnic (or enjoy food and beverages at cost), a blanket and get ready to have some fun at the Annual Breckenridge Town Party!
After the party is over, don't miss out on the other fun events scheduled for the weekend. The second weekend in June is a great time to stick around Breckenridge. The Breckenridge Fun Park opens on Friday, June 13th. The gondola will start running, bringing visitors up to the base of Peak 8 where you can experience the Gold Runner Coaster, the Alpine Slide, Bungee Jumping, and get lost in a maze. It a fun place for the family to hang out and see what mountain life is like without all the snow. Also, don't miss the exciting Outhouse Races on Father's Day (June 15th). The Outhouse Races have evolved over the years into a full street party- BBQ and live music. Starting at 2 p.m., teams from the Front Range and Summit County, gather to show off there homemade commodes on wheels. Watch as the race along downtown streets.  It has become a Breckenridge tradition that you will not experience anywhere else.Â
Book your dates to come visit Breckenridge this summer!
