Back in November, the cities that will be hosting start/finish lines were announced. The USA Pro Cycling Challenge released the 2014 race routes.  The 2014 route will be challenging for riders- with descents and mountaintop finishes.  On August 18th, the riders will start their 550 mile race across the state of Colorado, ending on August 24th in Denver.  According to the owner of the USA Pro Challenge, Rick Schaden, "The 2014 route will be a challenge for the riders and will provide plenty of great viewing opportunities for the spectators. This year is looking like it will be the best yet."

This graph shows comparable vacant lot inventory and sales for the  Breckenridge, Colorado area 2013 compared to year to date 2014.  Interesting to note that lot sales YTD are lower this year compared to the same period last year, even though our residential market is picking up significantly.

In Breckenridge, the chairlifts closed about a week, but here in the high country, we have already moved onto the next outdoor activity. The snowpack levels across the state of Colorado are well above average.  The rafting and kayaking companies are bracing for a great season.  If you like an adrenaline rush and water splashing in your face, then this rafting season will be a great one to enjoy. The spring temperatures are rising slowly, increasing the water levels.  A number of rafting companies in Frisco and Summit County have reported that they are about two weeks ahead of past seasons.  The Upper Blue River, just north of Silverthorne, has water levels that are high enough for boaters to get out and enjoy.  This section has not been raftable for the…
