I am sure you have heard about the real estate market here in Breckenridge from a myriad of sources. I have to say, in the 25 years of being in the real estate business here, I have not seen this situation happen before.
Currently, there are just 39 properties for sale in the Breckenridge area, with only 26 listed below $4 million and only 3 below $1 million! The total for all areas, including Park and Grand County, is only 149 listings for sale.
To put this in perspective, in March 2014 there were 556 listings for sale in Breckenridge and 1,690 for all areas. Remember, maximum inventory count usually occurs at the end of June.
One of the best investments to hold during inflationary periods is real estate, so if you currently own in Summit County, congratulations!
However, if for some reason you are thinking of selling your property, with the current conditions mentioned above, I have never seen a better time.
