Summit County is home to some of the most active Senior Citizens you will ever meet and Summit Seniors has been connecting those folks within our community for more than 40 years. This amazing group supports the health and well-being of seniors by offering dozens of activities, events and social gatherings every month. Summit Seniors fosters community for people looking for friends, new hobbies and fun adventures. They offer indoor activities like card groups, exercise classes, theme dinners, craft workshops and support sessions plus outdoor activities like golf, hiking and skiing clubs. Additionally, Summit Seniors is a hub for volunteering throughout the county. This group is unbelievably well connected! They serve countless hours delivering meals on wheels, helping out at the animal shelter, answering phones at the front desk and lending a hand in the Summit County Senior Center’s kitchen.
Membership is made up of full-time and part-time residents 50 years and older. In addition to the many weekly events they host, the group is gearing up to run a margarita booth at the Frisco BBQ (in June) and to organize their annual end of the summer Rummage Sale.
