I am sure you have heard about the real estate market here in Breckenridge from a myriad of sources. I have to say, in the 25 years of being in the real estate business here, I have not seen this situation happen before.

Currently, there are just 39 properties for sale in the Breckenridge area, with only 26 listed below $4 million and only 3 below $1 million! The total for all areas, including Park and Grand County, is only 149 listings for sale.
To put this in perspective, in March 2014 there were 556 listings for sale in Breckenridge and 1,690 for all areas. Remember, maximum inventory count usually occurs at the end of June.

On March 16 and April 15 from 6-8 pm, Breckenridge Ski Resort will be hosting the third and fourth events in a four-part series of ski patrol avalanche talks.

The events feature members of the Breckenridge Ski Patrol, as well as local guest speakers. This outreach is in an effort to educate community members about the current state of the snowpack, terrain management and more.

The evening events are free and open to the public. They feature a raffle for door prizes and a cash bar and are being hosted in the Elevation Room at The Village at Breckenridge.
